Science Expo How to make Nashville a green city

Connor Butler

What Can Be Done?

Carpooling Carpooling reduces the amount of carbon footprint by less use of cars. Cars that run on gas release gases into the air that pollute the air. Carpooling means the less use of cars so less air pollution.

We Could Also Make...

Rain Gardens Rain Gardens stop storm water from getting into lakes and rivers. Storm water can pollute rivers and lakes and kill many living water animals and plants. Rain Gardens helps rivers and lakes not to get polluted.

We Could Always Help With...

Recycling Recycling keeps trash from ending up in bad places. If you don't recycle and throw things away, they can end up killing animals so you are polluting by not recycling. Recycling saves living things life's and stops pollution.

Abstract I chose my topic of Nashville because I knew there was a lot we could change in Nashville with carbon footprint. I chose carpooling, rain gardens, and recycling because they are three major thing we could change in Nashville. I conducted my research by looking up good websites. I tried to see which were true and which were false. I chose the websites that I did because they were true and they gave a lot of good information about my topics.

I chose electronic slide show because I like technology and I knew it wouldn't be too hard because I know how to use these slide shows. I created my project by using keynote so I had to put everything correctly on each slide to make the slide show.

My project relates to the real world because carpooling, rain gardens, and recycling are real thing that can help Nashville become a green place.
