WELCOME!!! EASY TO TEACH EASY TO LEARN!!!

OUR ENVIRONMENT

If you don’t think about the future you will not have it. John Galsworthy

Ecology is a science about nature and about relations of man with it. Ecology is a science which studies whether we, human beings, keep our common house, our planet, in a good state, and how we use the gifts it is giving us: water, air, land, plants, animals and minerals. In short, Ecology is around us, it is everywhere. It is our environment. IT IS AN ILL BIRD THAT FOULS ITS OWN NEST.OWN NEST

Forests cover 30% of the Earth’s land surface. This is a lot of trees and also a lot of different species of trees. But they are disappearing fast. Every year over 1000, 000 sq. km of forest is so badly damaged. The rate of destruction is increasing. This includes the rainforests in Madagascar, Ecuador, Amazonia, the Himalayas and the Philippines.

Oceans cover more than 70% of the Earth’s surface. For a long time too little attention was paid to the environment. As a result above half of water sources in the country are polluted with industrial or communal waste.

In towns and cities the concentration of harmful substances in the air is over 10 times the admissible level. We know that polluted air, land and water are harmful to plants, animals and people. Air pollution, smog, water pollution, destruction of natural resources are also the environmental problems of today.pollution

Acid rain results from the release into the atmosphere of sulfur oxide and nitrogen oxide. Electrical plants, automobiles are among chief sources of these emissions. Acid rain is killing vast stretches of forests. Acid rain has acidified lakes and streams making them unable to support fish, wildlife, plants or insects. Radiation. Now it has become one of the main problems. It is not good for health of people. Many people died from radiation some years ago in Chernobyl. It was a tragedy. Another problem is earthquake. We know some terrible earthquakes in Armenia. Our scientists try to forecast earthquakes, and then we can protect ourselves from them.

How to Save the Earth? What must we do to keep our life happy and healthy?must How can we keep our Earth clean?keep our Earth We must take measures! We must protect our planet!

Firstly, we shouldn’t litter. If you throw the plastic bottle, it will litter the Earth forever! We must not throw litter on the ground! We must always throw garbage into the garbage can and we shouldn’t forget that old jars and bottles can become new jars and bottles. Never throw or break glass bottles. You damage the land!

Secondly, don’t cut wild flowers. They may all disappear. In England since the World War II 22 wild flower species have disappeared forever, 317 are standing on the brink. In short, there is much we can do. You should plant one oak tree a year. From one oak a forest grows. It is very simple. Reading

Thirdly, factories can clean their smog. Cars and planes can be done so that they do not pollute the air. The dirty water can be cleaned again. We can recycle most of the things we don’t want or cannot use any more. In short, take only what you need from the land. Give more to the land than what you take. Tasks

Oh, Russia, I’m in love with you! Remember, Russia, you are great Not in the field of battles past But in the green fields full of wheat And forests, gardens, free of dust. I love you deeply, dear land, Your heals and rivers, sand on strand Your songs and dances, lakes and seas Your beasts and fish, birds in trees. Your sunrise in a splendid sight Which gives me always such delight!
