The band earned straight superior ratings in marching, performance drum majors, drum line, color guard, dance team and full band at both events.

The band also won “Best In Class” band, guard, drum major, drum line, color guard, dance teams, drum majors and band at the Andalusia contest and was also awarded the “Grand Champions” of the day scoring higher than any other band at the event. There were 21 bands from 3 states participating in the contest. If you would like to see the Mighty Band from Lion Land in action, come out to the band jamoree tonight in Spanish Fort. The jamboree begins at 6 pm. and our band performs at 8 pm.
