2. The Talent Show is coming soon! The show will be held in the gym on Tuesday during the afternoon assembly time following 4 th block. Tickets for the Talent Show will be on sale Monday and Tuesday in the cafeteria during all lunch waves. The cost is $3. All students who wish to attend this year’s show are required to purchase a ticket.

3. Attention all AP Freshmen and Sophomores: The beach and Hangout field trip is Friday, April 24. The cost is $25 and includes lunch and travel. Field trip forms can be picked up from Mrs. Goodwin or outside Mrs. Lores’ office. The deadline to submit permission forms is April 17.

4. The Foley High School Yearbook Staff is currently taking staff applications for the 2015-2016 school year. If you like to take pictures, enjoy writing, or like graphic design then yearbook is the class for you. See Mrs. Styron in Room 803 to get your application. The applications are due April 17.

5. As of Wednesday, April 1 there will be no charging for lunches. If you have a balance it has to be paid in full in order for you to get a lunch. There will be an alternate lunch provided for you until your balance is paid.

6. Prom tickets from last Saturday night can be picked up in Mrs. Champion’s room 406 if anyone would like to have yours back. Please stop by soon as they will be thrown away at the end of the day.

7. The Baldwin County Community Alliance is sponsoring an underage drinking and prescription drug misuse prevention campaign, and we need your help. Submit your creative design for a billboard showing how middle and high school students gain access to alcohol and/or prescription drugs and the consequences of underage drinking and/or prescription drugs. If your idea wins, they will produce the billboard and display it on Highway 59!

8. (Billboard Contest Continued) The overall winner will be selected out of the entries from all Baldwin County high schools. See Mrs. Beverly in the front office for an entry form. All entry forms are due to Mrs. Beverly by Friday, April 17th.

9. The Lighthouse Youth Task Force participates each year in the Easter Eggstravaganza put on by The Lighthouse. It’s an Easter Egg Hunt/Children’s Activities located at Garrett Park in Robertsdale on Friday, April 3 rd from 10-1. The Youth Task Force is looking for other club members to assist them with the event this year. You will receive service hours and the help would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in volunteering, see Mrs. Beverly in the front office.

10. Attention all AP Lit students: Today is the last opportunity to get your tickets for the Shakespeare trip. After that, the tickets will start to open up for other students. Bring your money to Mrs. Goodwin in room 920.

11. Attention FBLA students: Are you planning to go on the New Orleans trip on April 12 & 13? If so, your money and field trip and teacher approval form are due to Ms. Porter today! It is imperative that you get all 3 turned in today!

12. FCCLA will meet on Tuesday from 3:15 to 4 pm. The club picture will be taken at that time so all members should plan to attend. Don’t be late.

13. There will be an Interact meeting after school Wednesday in Mrs. Styron’s room 803. There will be an Easter and Spring Break celebration—make plans to attend!

14. Seniors: there are 3 spots now available on the the senior trip. The cost is $425. See Mrs. K. in room 207 for more information.

15. Seniors: Mrs. K. has extra senior shirts. The white long sleeve shirt is $15 and the navy short sleeve is $10; or you can buy one of each for $20 – stop by room 207 and get your senior shirts today.

16. Seniors, are you interested in spotlighting your senior year? Do you have special memories you want included in the yearbook? The yearbook staff has a few ad spaces left for Senior Spotlights. See Mrs. Styron in room 803 to purchase your ad.

17. The boys soccer team will celebrate their senior night tonight between the JV and Varsity games against Robertsdale. Come out and support the Lions, cheer them on to victory, and congratulate our senior guys!

18. Have you gotten your tickets for today’s Faculty/Student Basketball game? If not, you better hurry. Tickets are $2 and may be purchased during all lunch waves in the cafeteria or in Ms. Baker’s room 400 during Skinny Block only.

19. The softball game scheduled for Wednesday, April 1 against McGill has been rescheduled for Monday, March 30 at 4 pm. Come out and support the Lady Lions as they take on the Yellowjackets.

20. Any male athlete interested in playing basketball for the 2015 – 2016 season please attend a meeting on Tuesday at 3:15 in the boys P.E. locker room.
