2. Do you enjoy taking pictures? Do you enjoy writing? Do you like graphic design? If you answered yes to any of these questions, yearbook is the class for you. The Foley High School Yearbook Staff is currently taking staff applications for the 2015-2016 school year. See Mrs. Styron in Room 803 to get your application. The applications are due April 17.

3. As of April 1, there will be no charging for lunches. If you have a balance it has to be paid in full in order for you to get a lunch. There will be an alternate lunch provided for you until your balance is paid.

4. Prom tickets from last Saturday night can be picked up in Mrs. Champion’s room 406 if anyone would like to have yours back. Please get this sometime this week because they will be thrown away after Friday.

5. The Baldwin County Community Alliance is sponsoring an underage drinking and prescription drug misuse prevention campaign, and we need your help. Submit your creative design for a billboard showing how middle and high school students gain access to alcohol and/or prescription drugs and the consequences of underage drinking and/or prescription drugs. If your idea wins, they will produce the billboard and display it on Highway 59!

6. (Billboard Contest Continued) The overall winner will be selected out of the entries from all Baldwin County high schools. See Mrs. Beverly in the front office for an entry form. All entry forms are due to Mrs. Beverly by Friday, April 17th.

7. Attention all AP Lit students: You have until the end of this week to get your tickets for the Shakespeare trip. After that, the tickets will start to open up for other students. Bring your money to Mrs. Goodwin in room 920.

8. Attention FBLA students who plan to attend the New Orleans trip on April 12 & 13. Please bring your money, field trip form and teacher approval form to Ms. Porter by Friday, March 27. It is imperative that you get all 3 in by this date.

9. The Lighthouse Youth Task Force participates each year in the Easter Eggstravaganza put on by The Lighthouse. It’s an Easter Egg Hunt/Children’s Activities located at Garrett Park in Robertsdale on Friday, April 3 rd from 10-1. The Youth Task Force is looking for other club members to assist them with the event this year. You will receive service hours and the help would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in volunteering, see Mrs. Beverly in the front office.

10. The Lighthouse Youth Task Force will meet on Thursday after school in the library. If you have not been trained for this year you will stay after the meeting for training.

11. Seniors: there are 3 spots now available on the the senior trip. The cost is $425. See Mrs. K. in room 207 for more information.

12. Seniors: Mrs. K. has extra senior shirts. The white long sleeve shirt is $15 and the navy short sleeve is $10; or you can buy one of each for $20 – stop by room 207 and get your senior shirts today.

13. Seniors, are you interested in spotlighting your senior year? Do you have special memories you want included in the yearbook? The yearbook staff has a few ad spaces left for Senior Spotlights. See Mrs. Styron in room 803 to purchase your ad.

14. The boys soccer team will celebrate their senior night on Friday between the JV and Varsity games against Robertsdale. Come out and support the Lions, cheer them on to victory, and congratulate our senior guys!

16. Tickets for Friday's Faculty/Student Basketball game will be sold during all lunch waves today through Friday for $2. Tickets will also be sold during skinny block only today-Friday as well, in Coach Baker’s room, 400. You must have a ticket to attend the game.
