Expectations Chromebooks are used for educational purposes Be Respectful Show respect with any online communication Be Responsible Take care of your device and conduct yourself as a professional Be Safe Keep personal information private Be Involved Take ownership over your education

Basic Chromebook Care No food or drink on or near the Chromebook Keep track of your Chromebook and keep it on your desk Keep the Chromebook free of writing and stickers Use two hands when carrying Do not stack materials on top of a closed Chromebook Do not poke or scratch the screen with anything that may leave a mark

Digital Citizenship Definition: the norms of appropriate, responsible behavior with regard to technology use Discussion topic: What do you think it means to be a good digital citizen?

Lost or Stolen Chromebooks If a Chromebook goes missing (is lost or stolen), it will be remotely shut down by the district tech department and will not power on until it is recovered/returned
