Seventh grade students trace the development of civilizations in Europe, Africa, and the Americas. They will study: Europe with an exploration of political systems of the Middle Ages Trade kingdoms of Africa Cultures of the Pre-Columbian America Renaissance Age of exploration
Develop general fitness and skills through team sports, individual activities and developmental activities Activities include soccer, softball, volleyball, dance, lacrosse, tennis, table tennis, badminton, track and field, weight training Topics covered in Health include: Mental and emotional health Tobacco, alcohol and other drugs Nutrition and fitness Safety and injury prevention Family life and human sexuality Disease prevention and control
