Seventh grade students trace the development of civilizations in Europe, Africa, and the Americas. They will study:  Europe with an exploration of political systems of the Middle Ages  Trade kingdoms of Africa  Cultures of the Pre-Columbian America  Renaissance  Age of exploration

 Develop general fitness and skills through team sports, individual activities and developmental activities  Activities include soccer, softball, volleyball, dance, lacrosse, tennis, table tennis, badminton, track and field, weight training Topics covered in Health include:  Mental and emotional health  Tobacco, alcohol and other drugs  Nutrition and fitness  Safety and injury prevention  Family life and human sexuality  Disease prevention and control
