The facility was commissioned in July The facility presently serves about 500 users daily which translates to approximately 3,000 people on a weekly basis.

What is the role of Metamorphosis? Metamorphosis plays a key role in identifying location and carrying out joint site inspections with officers from Lagos State Ministry of Environment, obtaining relevant approvals from State Ministries and mobilising stakeholders in the target communities. Metamorphosis secures private sector or donor funding for the design and construction of the public convenience facility. Workers- Cleaners, Security guards, Ticketing officer and Supervisor are employed, thus creating job opportunities. Staff are trained and provided with proper cleaning equipment. Revenue generated is used for maintenance, staff salaries and other development initiatives needed in the target community. Metamorphosis organizes periodic staff training to ensure quality control and service delivery. Metamorphosis carries out intensified awareness campaign for the stakeholders within the area on the existence of newly constructed facility and benefits of it’s use prior to the opening of facility for public use. Metamorphosis carries out mass sensitization for the general public on the health and hygiene benefits of the facility prior to and after opening of facility for public use.
