Balanced diet is the way to a healthy lifestyle… A balanced diet includes all the right nutrients which will help you stay healthy and fit, such as proteins, fats, carbohydrates, dairy and fruit and vegetables.

Fitness and health are not the same thing: fitness is the ability to do physical activity health is the amount of freedom from disease. Eating junk food can only harm your body and eventually you will suffer from heart disease…

“ Eating healthy”… Junk food contains large amount of fat. This then damages your body which makes you gain weight. If people are not likely to stop eating junk food then eventually they will turn overweight.

Eating a poor diet can affect you and your body as well as damaging your immune system. Did you know… According to a recent survey, Britain is the fattest country in western Europe. In the whole of Europe, only Hungary has fatter people…shocking!!! Wow!

Diabetes is a disease where the concentration of glucose in the blood is not controlled properly by the body. Type 1 Type 2 This is when your pancreas does not produce enough insulin. This can lead to high levels of glucose in the blood, which can be fatal. Can not be cured as it is genetic. This is due to obesity and how eating fat food can cause diabetes type 2. It can be cured if enough exercise and healthy eating is done.

Eating fat foods can cause serious damage to your health. if you consume more energy than you use then you will eventually gain more weight. Junk such as these: have a huge effect on our body as we CONNOT resist temptation. YUMMY!!!

There are a range of different activities for different age groups for example, young people might be more interested in more energetic activities such as; swimming, ice skating, surfing, running, roller blading, etc, where as elderly people may like slow walks through the park or a variety of board games. This is not always the case though. A lot of elderly people are very active and enjoy doing energetic activities. Some are even healthier than younger people.
