Metabolism: The process by which the body breaks down substances and gets energy from food.It converts the food we eat into fuel we need to power everything we do.It takes about 3,500 calories to equal 1 pound of body fat.QUESTION:->How many calories a day does a person have to cut back in order to lose 1 pound of fat a week?
