Why do people choose to use Ibuprofen?

Ibuprofen ✤ General Name: Ibuprofen ✤ Brand Name: Advil, Children’s Advil, Medipren, Motrin, Nuprin, PediaCare Fever, Midol, Junior Strength Advil/Ibuprofen/Motrin, Pediatric Advil and many more brand names! ✤ Chemical Name: Oxycodone, Analgesic and antipyretic properties ✤ (OTC) Over the Counter Drug or a Prescribed NSAID A non- steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID)

What does Ibuprofen do? ✤ Blocks the body’s production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation. ✤ Temporarily relieves minor aches and pains due to: ➡ headache, dental pain, muscular aches, minor pain of arthritis, toothache, backache, the common cold, menstrual cramps

ALWAYS read the label! Some manufactures add or eliminate ingredients Read the WARNINGS! Allergic reaction can occur especially in people who are allergic to aspirin Stomach bleeding warnings: contains NSAID  Increased chance if: > 60 years old, have had stomach ulcers before, take a blood thinner or steroid drug, have 3 or more alcoholic drinks everyday while on drug

ALWAYS read the label! ✤ DO NOT USE: ✤ If you have had an allergic reaction to any other pain/reliever/fever reducer or right before/after heart surgery ✤ If Pregnant or breast feeding - ask Physician or health professional before use ✤ READ THE DIRECTIONS! ✤ Do not take more than directed! ✤ Depending on mg determines the amount of pills (how many 1-2) and how long before you can take your next one (4-6 hrs)  Example: 200 mg Ibuprofen, take 1 tablet every 4-6 hours
