8 InfoTrac College Edition SUBJECT GUIDE AND KEYWORD SEARCHES STEP 1 Type in a subject or keyword. STEP 2 Click on View to see search results, or click on Narrow to narrow down the search. STEP 3 Once the article is located, click on the title to view.

9 InfoTrac College Edition ADVANCED SEARCH Step 1 Select an index to search by. Examples are Journal Name, Title, Author, Subject, or Abstract. Next, type in the search item and click Submit. Step 2 Click on View to see the results or Modify to change your search. Step 3 Once the article is located, click on the title to view.

10 InfoTrac College Edition LIMIT SEARCH Can be used with any search type The Limit Search function limits the search by date, journal, or keyword. For example, the database can pull all the articles from the Economist dating from Jan 1, July 22,2003. Or, if the journal name is unknown, click on Browse to see the list of available journals. A maximum of 10 journals can be searched simultaneously.
