An overview of the Shared Governance structure at Lutheran “I AM Shared Governance”

Today we will answer: What is Shared Governance? How do my patients and I benefit from Shared Governance? What are Unit/Department Based Councils and Hospital-Wide Councils? How can I help Shared Governance work on my unit?

What is Shared Governance? Shared Governance is shared decision making based on the principles of partnership, equity, accountability and ownership at the point of service.
