Nathaniel Wilson HBCU-UP Reading/Writing Summer 2008

The three aspects of robot exoskeletons that have become increasingly important are wearability, enhancement of strength and endurance and military applications.

I.Powered exoskeletons are designed to assist and protect the wearer. II.They may be designed to assist and protect soldiers and construction workers, or to aid the survival of people in other dangerous environments. III.A wide medical market exists in the future for providing mobility assistance for aged and infirmed people.

A.Exoskeleton is defined as a powered mobile machine consisting primarily of a skeleton-like framework worn by a person, and with external power which supplies at least part of the activation-energy for limb movement.

B.This suit can take the place of many muscles

A.Exoskeleton provides the capabilities of giving a single human the strength and endurance ten times his or her abilities.

B.Enhancement strength and endurance would make most complex tasks quicker to do without much effort. Also with this suit, you will save energy and time and become a more confident person.

A.In the near future every soldier would be able to use super strength in combat. The abilities of the suit will enhance not only that feature but others as well.

B.With this suit, everyone will be able to conserve their energy and be ready for battle when called.
