STRUCTURE AND METHODS OF CO-OPERATION

The ESF Co.Net was created in Vienna last 20th February and it counts among its members 9 Italian and as many European Regions, all cooperating together with a specific goal: creating a synergy only between MANAGING AUTHORITIES their INTERMEDIATE BODIES and CENTRAL AUTORITIES operating within the European Social Fund, but all of them with their own specific mission, strategy and intervention field.

The network has a series of characteristics: ACCESS IS FREE IT DEALS WITH THE SUBJECTS FROM A TECHNICAL DIMENSION CONTENTS MAY VARY ACCORDING TO THE NEEDS OF THE PARTICIPANTS IT DOESNT INVOLVE ANY COST OR ANNUAL FEE The subjects to be dealt with are constantly MONITORED AND CAREFULLY SELECTED BY ALL THE PARTNERS There is an ANNUAL PROGRAM OF WORK PARTICIPATION TO THE EVENTS AND THE ACTIVITIES IS FREE OF CHARGE

During the first semester the ESF Co.Net Programme of Work will be as follows: the activation of the IT portal; the activation of the videoconfering system and its tools; the arrangement of a meeting in Trento on June about The new frontiers of social inclusion – comparing experiences; the arrangement of a seminar in Rome on 20 June on the subject Active ageing and fight against age discrimination and arrangement of the second Assembly of the Partners (in Rome); the possible arrangement of one seminar in Bruxelles in the month of September on the subject Results of the first partnership semester between Managing Authorities and Intermediate Bodies – strong and weakpoints of a transnationality project; creating the basis for a first experience of free communication among the Partners; suggesting an in-depth study-visit programme to learn about the specific condition of the Autonomous Province of Trento
