 Any one who has instructor privileges can upload and ‘drive’ a ppt dynamically in the live classroom  Click on the upload button on the far right in the content pane  This will pop-up a window to browse for the file and create a folder which contains the slides. You may use the drop-down menu at any time after the upload to to that folder and see those slides again StaceyDeLoose

 Click on any slide to view it and show it to though the eBoard (main screen)  As the instructor you can also click on the P button to Preview the slide before it is shown to the whole class  You (and other instructor level users) can then use the tools on the left to annotate, mark up, and highlight your presentation StaceyDeLoose

 The tools allow you to add arrows, freehand draw, lines, circles, text in various line thickness and colors  You can use the eraser to take out the drawings, lines, arrows, etc  Clearing the slide takes off both the drawings and the slide (which you can easily repost by clicking on the slide on the right)  Import lets you import a picture to the eBoard – dynamically (like the ppt) StaceyDeLoose

 Save will create a ‘Snapshot “of the eBoard and place it in your Snapshots folder (which you can revisit like the ppt folders)  Screen grab will allow you to capture a “Print Screen”/”SnagIt” type picture of your current desktop – a pop up window will help you with size, area, timing, sending it to the eBoard, etc.  Enable will allow instructors to set who has access to the toolbar StaceyDeLoose

 The bars show you how strong your signal is –(can you hear me now?)  To be heard you must HOLD down the talk button (or use the Lock talk under Options for an open/hot mic)  The speaker lets you change volume level  The bars in the middle show those levels you are hearing and speaking at  The person allows you to change mic levels  Video camera lets you use a web cam  Phone is the number and PIN for simulcast – students who have problems logging in can still hear everything  Options let you play with these settings StaceyDeLoose

 The text area show the chat and other functions/actions that happen  You can pause the chat at any time to catch up (then start it again with play)  You can chat to the Main Room  Or specific users – a ‘whisper’ that only you and she can see StaceyDeLoose

 The people area shows you who is logged in and how strong their connection is – low red connection often will cut out sound  You can indicate and see responses here  Check = yes  X = No  Hand is for raising their hand (and is indicated next to their name with a number in the order they responded)  You can get data here too – number of responses, who has a web cam, who is talking, etc  You can change setting and allow/disable in here too StaceyDeLoose

 An Archive records all that happens – the slides, the voice, the public text (whispers aren’t recorded) and shows it like a video  Web will allow you to show a web page – dynamically in the eBoard  eBoard takes you back to the eBoard (from web page or shared app)  AppShare allows you to share your desktop (or another user to remotely share theirs, where you can control their mouse, etc)  Arrows are prev and next slide StaceyDeLoose
