What is UCAS? Oversee applications to Higher Education institutions. Regulates the procedure of filling the places available. Gives replies to students of the offers they have/have not received. Tries to ensure that all applications are treated equally. UCAS works to deadlines and so does school.

School Deadlines Medics, Vets, Oxbridge By or before Friday 4th October to meet 15 th October UCAS deadline All other UCAS applicants by or before Friday 11 th November. Early Application is beneficial to student and school.

Things To Remember Each course at every institution will apply its own criteria for entry. Specific course entry requirement will depend on the demand for the course, and may change from year to year. Courses with the same title are not necessarily the same. Application can be made for different types of courses (but care needs to be taken). It is wise to consider one or two courses that are below predicted grade level.
