4 SOME POINTS TO CONSIDER: Is the university offering the course you want to study? What sort of ratings does it have? www.unistats.direct.gov.uk Staff/student ratios An older university or a newer institution? Geographical location: How far are you from family/ friends? Is an airport accessible? City or rural location? Sport/ extra curricular activities available WHERE TO STUDY?

5 Single Honours Degree or Joint Honours degree? A sandwich course? A year abroad? Courses of the same name vary from university to university What form of assessment? WHAT TYPE OF COURSE?

14 Offers: If a university makes an offer it may take the following forms: A. Grades ie. A,B,C B. Points ie. 260 UCAS points C. Subject specific ie. ‘must include at least a B grade in Maths’ Once you have received all of offers you will need to make a ‘FIRM’ and ‘INSURANCE’ choice. HOW TO APPLY?
