Aim To promote the value of using scrapbooking as a method of teaching and learning in church based activities To consider how this might be developed in both the church and faith community To produce at least one page using a scrapbooking technique
By the end of this presentation I hope you will:- Have some knowledge of getting started with Scrapbooking Recognise the value of undertaking such a project in a faith based setting Feel confident and skilled in introducing Scrapbooking in all age church activities
What is Scrapbooking? Scrapbooking:- Is the art of preserving memories and/or experiences by using photographs/postcards etc. and combining them with journaling and memorabilia.

What do I need to complete a page? How do I start? Select a photograph, picture or postcard – think about the content/colour/audience Select one sheet of 12 x 12 card for the background Select paper or card to form a mount for the picture – think about colours etc. Select other bits and pieces to use for decoration e.g. scraps of patterned paper, labels, brads, ribbon or wool Consider the layout of the page and decide what size letters etc. to use Away you go – Just enjoy!
