5. Making Once you have designed your pages, check for any errors. Check with your teacher that your pages are suitable for printing and any printing preferences that may be needed.. Step 2

6. Making Trim the excess white edges of the calendar using the guillotine. Throw the rubbish into the recycling bin. Place the printed page on the edge of the guillotine to make sure you get a straight edge. Step 3

7. Making Make the window mounts. Measure your printed calendar page e.g. 15cm x 21cm. Select an appropriate mount paper. Draw a box in the centre of the page slightly smaller than your calendar page e.g. 14cm x 20cm. Draw a box in the centre of the page slightly smaller than your calendar page. Use a craft knife and a safety ruler, cut a square window from the mount paper. SAFETY – use the craft with care always cut away from your fingers. Step 4

8. Place a second sheet of mounting paper, but without a rectangle cut out of it and glue it onto the back. Place the trimmed calendar page in the centre of the mounting page. Remember - the calendar page should be slightly bigger. Tape the calendar page on to the back of the mounting page using masking tape. Step 5 Making

10. Making Carefully thread the key rings through the punched holes. Other bindings could be used such as threads or elastic bands. Experiment to see what gives you the most professional finish. Step 7
