 Wonder Women is a multi-dimensional entity. A merging of what looks like a non-for-profit organization + membership organization + corporation. We like to think of it as a hybrid organization that creates its own unique look, feel, vibration and legacy.  There are 3 membership levels: Explorers, Adventurers and Avatars.  Various sponsorship opportunities are available.

Wonder Women is an organization committed to empowering women to lead to contribute and to impact society.  Wonder Women’s mission is to raise awareness and provide women with opportunities for professional, personal and community development. We connect, enlighten, empower and celebrate women through events, programs, collaboration and fundraising activities. We focus on what unites us as women, not what separates us.  Wonder Women’s vision is to inspire all women around the world by fostering a greater understanding of the issues that challenge and unite us. We bring value to each other and mentor the next generation of women leaders, thereby affecting the lives of the men and children we touch and unifying diversity.

 Wonder Women was created and launched in NYC in 2011 by Aliya Hallim- Byne. Wonder Women held a total of thirteen events by December Our highlighted event partners and sponsors were Greenpeace International, The United Nations, Thomson Reuters, The Manhattan Jewish Community Center, Susan G. Komen NYC, Safe Horizon, The Rubin Museum, Equinox Fitness and The Rooster Gallery in NYC, for which a curator from Sotheby’s provided a written piece about Wonder Women.

We produced events in spaces that welcomed open communication and… 1. Enhanced greater awareness about taking responsibility for our role in protecting our environment and the effects of pollution in the future. 2. Focused on being healthy through Yoga with plans to do other events on the topic of disease prevention in the future. 3. Celebrated women’s efforts and the powerful influence we can have when we are open to learning about our different cultures and life goals and through sharing our passions, talents and capabilities to empower ourselves and our communities. 4. Advocated for eliminating LGBT discrimination. One way we have demonstrated this is through our annual community event at the Rubin Museum that kicks off the month of LGBT Pride. We invite various partners and sponsors to participate and everyone is welcome to blend together, share information, as well as take a tour of the museum’s exhibits and current film. The evening culminates with an after party at another location.

We prompted our community to take action by creating initiatives that… 1. Focused on the impact of assault, rape and domestic violence on our women and girls both locally and globally. We shared powerful first-hand experiences in a video we produced and presented it with other personal stories and life- saving resources and information. Our speakers have been: the Campaign Manager for the UN Secretary-General’s Campaign UNiTE to End Violence; a social worker/rape crisis coordinator for Safe Horizon; and Vice President, Mental Health Treatment at Safe Horizon. 2. Raised funds for Susan G. Komen’s Breast Cancer Awareness with Team Lion Heart through a performance event. We also participated in the Breast Cancer Walk and provided brunch to the team. 3. Raised awareness and funds through a line of Tee-Shirts in support of Safe Horizon and the Anti-Violence Project.

 We published 2 calendars and we are currently working on a 2014 calendar.  We created a signature Wonder Women line of Jewelry that we call Jewelry Armor. It is based on the design of our logo and has been featured in a promotional video.  We opened an online tee-shirt and accessories business with a series of original designs.  We have a very active and engaged presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.  We create and distribute news and events via newsletters and eblasts.

 On January 19, 2013 we launched “Wonder Women in Action!,” an action- oriented and results-focused networking experience highlighted by interview sessions with extraordinary women. A video of the event is then published for online viewing.  We launched “Wonder Women Inspirations” on Facebook, which are word and image collages created by Aliya Hallim-Byne and others to inspire and create dialogue.  In January 2013 we launched Sweepstakes and Offers on Facebook to highlight our sponsors and attract new members and customers.  Our goal is to have produced a total of 15 events in Several have become popular and well-attended annual gatherings.  We are currently working on launching our own internet-based TV station.

What has been presented thus far is just a hint of the platform that Wonder Women has built to date… and we are gaining momentum. We are a well-respected organization due in large part to the efforts of Wonder Women Creator/Founder/CEO, Aliya Hallim-Byne, who has volunteered much of her time to non-profit organizations throughout her career in corporate America since 1997.Aliya Hallim-Byne, Wonder Women can offer custom partnerships that include promotional advertising and in-kind and corporate sponsorship opportunities on one or several of our professional and interactive social media and event platforms. You have a ground floor opportunity to showcase your company or brand as a supporter of our mission and vision. We are poised to grow both locally and internationally because our audience is comprised of empowered, proactive, socially aware and globally concerned women and men of every age, ethnicity and background.
