7 Revised implementation Plan for new TR guidelines #MilestoneWhoWhen 8 Work with social science community to create means to assess new recognition guidelines through community pilot projects and potential presentation through the TsunamiReady web site NOAA TSU and NTHMP Create and finalize a national roll-out strategy for the new TsunamiReady program structure (timeline, tool kit, news releases, events, etc.) Coordinate roll-out strategy with others (e.g. NTHMP CC) MES Workshop Community Pilot Projects: Identify volunteer communities (NTHMP/TR Grant) willing to test the new guidelines through implementation Conduct pilots (ideally from each of the six NWS Regions) capturing feedback and resolving issues NOAA TSU, WCMs and NTHMP Create an improved TsunamiReady web site to support the new program structure NOAA TSU (contractor) Revise guidelines one last time based on pilot project findings NOAA TSU Create new TsunamiReady application forms and submit to OMB for approval (takes 12 months to get approval through OMB) NOAA TSU2012
