The Air Quality In Hong Kong By Brandon Chung

Are Humans Responsible for Air pollutions? YES THEY ARE!! But how??????

What Causes Air Pollution In Hong Kong? Vehicles- There are 280 cars for every KM of road in Hong Kong The air pollution in mainland China is drifts across to Hong Kong. Aeroplanes which will release Carbon Dioxide. Using electricity – Since Hong Kong is very hot most of the year, lots of people use air conditioning, so the factories have to produce more electricity, as a result that causes more air pollutions.

What are the Main Effects of Air Pollutions Air Pollution will trap more sun rays into the Earth and it will heat up. As a result Global warming is produced What are the effects of global warming? Ice caps will melt quicker and scientist estimate that after 16 years all the ice caps will melt. The temperature and the sea level of the Earth is getting higher and it will lead to crop failures, floods, Hurricanes, typhoon and more natural disasters.

The World health Organization estimate that more that 2.4 million of people die from lung diseases mostly caused by air pollution : Respiratory disease, Lung cancer, heart diseases, aggravated asthma, bronchitis, emphysema etc.

What can we do to reduce Air Pollution? Turn off electric components when it is not necessary. Turn on air conditioner only when the temperature is very hot. If it is very hot, turn it only on 25.5 degrees. Recycle more. Reuse Reduce the amount of trash/rubbish. –Don’t use plastic bags.

The countries which produces the most Air Pollution. 1.China 2.America 3.Russia 4.India 5.Japan 6.Germany 7.Canada 8.United Kindom 9.South Korea
