Evaluation Against Selection Criteria

Relevance to RMP Management Questions

Evaluation Against Selection Criteria

Power Analysis

Recommended Design 20 year sampling effort biennial sampling to reduce cost, but maintain reasonable power and obtain timely information on emerging contaminants –annual sampling would provide answers in 20 years or less collect duplicates to continue to refine estimates of variance 10 egg composites at each location as a balance between obtaining representative samples and minimizing impact on reproductive output of each colony

Recommended Design include PCBs, LPs, mercury, selenium, dioxins and dibenzofurans, PBDEs, PFCs – other emerging contaminants recommended by the ECWG carefully archive samples for future retrospective analysis cost approximately $25K per year
