Following The Rules created by Mr. Gomez October 28, 2008 Visit me at my website to learn more about me!website

This power point is a brief description of rules at different places that students need to know about….enjoy!

Why Do We Have Rules? ? Every student deserves to be in a safe, friendly, and nice environment ? Students and teachers have things they are not allowed to do ? Rules make things fair

Where can we find rules? Home School Public

Who makes the rules? Parents Teachers Police

Ok, here we go! Lets look at some of the rules we can find at home.

Rules at home Clean your room Go to sleep early Respect your elders

Rules at home contd Have eating manners Brush your teeth

Now that we have looked at rules we can find at home. Lets look at rules that we can find at school.

Rules at school Be at school on time Respect your elders Respect your classmates

Lets look at school rules even closer. Lets look at some rules found in the classroom

Rules in the classroom Raise your hand. Listen to the speaker Stay in your seat when youre supposed to

Rules in the classroom contd Respect the things in the classroom (desks, books, toys, etc.) Wait your turn

We all play outside on the playground. There are rules out there too! Lets take a look

Rules on the playground Respect school property…Dont write on walls, damage balls, equipment on the playground. No fighting No running across the yard

Rules on the playground contd Stay in your designated area Respect the playground supervisors Share the equipment

Rules in the hallway Walk Be courteous to the classes next to you Dont be loud Walk to and back where you need to go Dont wonder off to another place

Now that you have seen some of the rules that I know about. Lets take some time now to think of some of the rules that you know of and lets talk about them

Available Resources Some websites such as found in Gigglepotz and others have a variety of rules that a student, parent, and teachers can look at Gigglepotz others

Things to remember Ask a teacher or an adult if they can explain the rules Watch and look for rules posted around you

Now that we know the rules, we just have to follow them. So, if we practice at home and school we will have no problem doing whats right
