Social Science Definition: area of study dealing with human society * there are 7 main disciplines

History Definition: The study of past events in human societies * Involves identifying, classifying, arranging, patterning, and connecting past events to present

Geography Definition: the study of all the physical features of the Earth's surface, including its climate and the distribution of plant, animal, and human life Topics: maps, trade patterns, population distribution, industrial /agricultural decisions

Definition: the study of the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services * Topics: production, distribution, consumption, monetary policy, costs, benefit, supply, & demand Economics
