Today We will be looking at how the social, economic and cultural environment can impact on the outcome of children’s lives.

Today Describe how the social, economic and cultural environment can impact on the outcome of children’s lives. Explain the role of children and young people’s choices and experiences has on their outcome and life chances.

Outcomes and life chances These can be linked to the ECM For each point of the ECM explain why these outcomes are important for children and young people. What would the consequences be if a child or young person failed to achieve one of these points.

Throughout your work with children you need to keep in mind the individuality and uniqueness of every child and young person. This will include an understanding that social, economic and cultural environments may have an effect on the children and young peoples personal outcomes and life chances
