An Interior Designer -people who dedicate themselves to creating beautiful indoor spaces. -experts in dealing with colour, texture, shape and size. -take on both residential and commercial projects. - choose paint, wallpaper, carpeting and furniture. -coordinate painters, tillers and movers Creativity and good taste are VERY important

-employed by architectural firms, private corporations and governments, or may be self-employed. -requires a lot of scientific and mathematical expertise. An Architect -coordinate general contractors, electricians, plumbers, landscapers and INTERIOR DESIGNERS! -Work closely with clients, makes sure designs are as close as possible to the clients wishes.

The Relation - both require tons of creativity, imagination and great taste -first step is to ALWAYS produce a drawing or a sketch - have a lot of people to look after and coordinate. -Both have to make sure the client is satisfied with everything

Interior Designer Architect -The first step to becoming a certified designer is to complete an accredited college or university interior design program (either a 2 to 3 year diploma or a 4 year bachelor’s degree). Interior Designer -approximately 7 years of combined education and work experience is generally needed. The final step to becoming a fully certified interior designer is to write a certification exam. - work 3 years under the supervision of a licensed architect and passing a series of professional examinations. Architect You can also become an architect by enrolling in an apprenticeship 8 years of work with a licensed architect. Most architects complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture. Once you have an architecture degree, you have get certified by the province you work in.
