3. Working Conditions Architects do most of their work on the computers or drawing boards. Architects may also spend time in the field Consulting with clients, or making presentations to city planning departments. Architects difficulties come when they have to consult with client about a specific topic.

4. Architects Skills In order to be an architect you must be able to visually communicate your ideas to clients. Artistic and drawing abilities are very helpful because it makes you job much easier. Good communication skills are critical to success in this field. An architect must also be an active listener when dealing with clients.

5. Education Most architectural degrees are from five-year bachelor of architecture programs. All states and the District of Columbia require individuals to be licensed before they can call themselves architects or contract to provide architectural services. Licensing requirements include a professional degree in architecture, a period of practical training or internship and passage of all sections of the Architect Registration Examination.

6. Salary Architects in 2001 to 2003 earned 40k a year. In 2004 architects earned 50k a year. Today architects earn up to 60k a year.

7. Starting own business/ management If I were to start my own business it would be on a sporting goods store. I would have a sporting goods store because I like sports,and if I want to start my own business it has to be something I like. If I were to get a career in management I would probably be an engineering manager.

9. Working Conditions Work in this occupation requires being inside most of the time Work in this occupation involves use of protective items such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, a hard hat, or personal flotation devices Sound and noise levels are loud and distracting.

10. Salary of Engineering Manager Engineering managers make 60 thousand a year. If I were to start my own business it would depend on how much money I would make. THE END
