K- “I’ve always been a player since I could walk, but now that I’m older, coaching is just an extension of that.” What is difficult about being a coach? K- “It is very frustrating, because most of the time, kids don’t understand the proper movements, so then have to re teach it to them.” What is your favorite thing about coaching? K- “ Its rewarding when I help a player become better.” What specific drills do you use to help improve players? K- “A lot of ball handling drills, and a lot of running drills.”

Interview with Mr. Karaiskos Continued… What do you do to increase teamwork? K- “ When there are exhausting practices kids get along naturally, and teams connect on their own.” What do you so when a player is injured? K- “ Just by letting them know what is at stake, and setting goals for the game.” Do you keep your team well fit during the off-season?
