PEC Students As Leaders ACTIVITIES Projects Programs Initiatives Developments ACTION Being Safe Respectful Learners PEC CORE VALUES Participation Excellence Cooperation THE MODEL Student Leadership Framework

As the PEC Community we want to have in place a well planned and coordinated approach to student leadership which develops the leadership potential of all students. This needs to be done in a way which supports students as personal leaders, as peer leaders and as public leaders. PEC Students As Leaders

PEC CORE VALUES Participation Excellence Cooperation Our Core Values are what we believe to be the most important things about our lives at school. They drive all that we do at school. For all members of the PEC community, our core values are: Participation Excellence Cooperation

ACTION Being Safe Respectful Learners Having Core Values as our statement of what is important to us all, we then need to put these beliefs into action. We do this in many ways each and every day of our school lives. Importantly our actions are guided by PBL in which all PEC members are expected to: Be Safe Be Respectful Be Learners

ACTIVITIES Projects Programs Initiatives Developments Within and across PEC, we have a great number of activities to support and encourage students to develop and demonstrate their leadership skills. It is important for all projects, programs, initiatives and developments to be designed to provide leadership opportunities for students and to ensure all students are able to develop the necessary skills to be leaders.

A model is necessary to ensure the many student leadership activities that take place across PEC are well coordinated and well planned. It is important for a Student Leadership Framework to be developed which shows clearly the purpose of the activities that take place and the way in which they are connected to each other and to the whole of student leadership. THE MODEL Student Leadership Framework
