Haitian War Crimes Trial- You be the Lawyers for the Defense Review background information from your reading notes. Examine evidence packet. Identify quotes and instances that explain the motives of your soldiers and help to justify their actions during the war. Fill out your chart with your claims and your evidence. Prepare arguments that focus on why your soldiers acted as they did, since the court has already concluded that atrocities occurred.
