Week 1 of school: Welcome to your Senior year! Mrs. Christ, teaching since 1988 and celebrating 24 years at this wonderful and deeply satisfying career!

Day one perfect attendance=100% on big test. Introduction Policies: shared another day! Now for the good stuff!!! Birth date line up One item you can’t live without or best app. Two lies and a truth

Day 2 People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. Syllabus given. 1. Never Absent incentive/ex.credit/ Bathroom passes/type all written work done at home. Printer in pod not for student use! Print at home or in lib. Before my class. No copies. Pair-share interview Write 2 paragraphs about what you learned about your partner. It can be an obituary, song, poem, fairy tale, etc. Show me your writing ability! Type at home by Tuesday. If absent today or added class later, do this on yourself! Homework : Due Tuesday: Finish writing assgn. Type if possible!! Supplies for class needed(notebook, highlighter, pens) get parent signature on syllabus. Due by Friday ID, schedule, and backpack needed Monday when we get your textbooks for all classes. I love Semicolons! (Like a period)

Interview questions What’s your fav.sport/hobby? What is something only your bf knows? If you could change your name, what would it be? If you could be someone else, who would you be? Where will you be in your life in 5 years? Who’s your role model? Tell your fondest memory.

BEEN IN DISTRICT WHOLE LIFE MOVED MORE THAN 3 TIMES SINCE AGE 6 READ MAGS OVER SUMMER LIVE WITH 2 PARENTS LIVE WITH PARENT(S) PLUS OTHER RELATIVE(S) HAVE 4 OR MORE SIBBLINGS PLAN TO GO TO CSU OR UC IMMEDIATELY AFTER HS. PLAN ON GETTING GOOD GRADES THIS YEAR PLAN ON GOING TO TECHNICAL/VOCATION/TRADE COLLEGE SPEAK ANOTHER LANG AT HOME LIKE TO LEARN NEW THINGS WILL BE FIRST IN FAMILY TO GRAD. COLLEGE PARENTS OWN THEIR OWN BUSINESS HAVE A SIBBLING IN COLLEGE ARE VERY MESSY READ A BOOK OVER SUMMER LIKE TO WRITE SONGS, ETC. SPEND MORE THAN 2 HRS DAILY ON INTERNET IN ATHLETICS ON CAMPUS WERE IN A SCHOOL CLUB LAST YEAR CAN’T WAIT TO GET OUT OF HS! COUNT A TEACHER AS A PERSON WHO MADE A DIFF. IN » YOUR LIFE

Seniors: week 2: Textbook day Get textbooks Ever lied to a teacher before? “The dog ate my disc…”pg.471 Homework: Typed interview due tomorrow; first grade! Remember, no ing copies or not having it printed BEFORE CLASS!

11 th grade:WEEK 2 Get texts Roots list of 50 introduced Make cards for 4 of them. Homework: TYPED INTERVIEW DUE TOMORROW Start studying roots! First quiz next week on 1-25! Create 4 cards if you didn’t.

Enjoy a wonderful Three-day weekend and get lots of rest from your first week at school. On avg., teens need hours of sleep per day!!!
