Shakespeare wrote tragedies, comedies, and histories. 5. Shakespeare is not famous for his poems. 6. Shakespeare wrote in blank verse and iambic pentameter. 7. The Globe theater was square in shape, open air with enclosed galleries. 8. Shakespeares audience did not have to listen intently to the words or language.
