Page 7 Funding: Search Screen Make Sure Funding Entries Are Up-To-Date Funding Suggestions  Check statuses – update Pending grants to “Active” or “Unfunded”  Check if your faculty member’s role is accurate  Check if dollar amounts are correct; if not, you can self-enter  Are all current grants showing? If not, hand enter new grants  Check for duplicates: OSP vs. Hand Entered  Are titles and sponsors correct?  Do your faculty member’s collaborators have new grants? Are collaborators listed on their grants?

Page 15 Last But Not Least  Don’t Forget  Editorial Experience  Grant Review/Study Section  Symposium/Meeting Chair/Coordinator  Start early  Allow plenty of time for faculty and department review  Include everything but do not duplicate (with one exception)  Remember collaborative activities  Remember the reviewers  They have 210+ CV’s to review  Make it clear, easy to read … do not make them dig  Help them to help your faculty member get promoted, etc.
