1. Log into your school Gmail account 1. Top of toolbar of the screen, click “More” you will see a drop down menu 1. Click “Even More” at the botton of the drop-down menu 1. Scroll down until you see “Voice” on the left hand side of the screen under Home & Office 1. Click “Voice” 1. Click “I want a new #” 1. Choose the number based on zip (or if you want to be creative you can try to spell out a word. It is preferable a # 1. Follow the instructions… enter a pin etc. 1. Enter in your home # or cell (we will be able to turn off forwarding later, but don’t think school will work if you have an extension) Alternative Ways to Assign Homework or Conduct Assessment

To listen to your messages: Click “Voic s” on the left hand side. * You need to go to More, Even More, Google Voice, Voic s to listen to messages. * Once I’ve graded a message, I usually “star” it so I know I graded it. * The first time we practice I will usually play a few for the class as examples. * Remind kids to say their first and last name right from the start. * It is recommended if they make an error to pause and keep going-- you don’t want them calling you over and over!
