Graduated from Southwest Normal University in 1985, English major Worked as an English teacher ever since Studied in Yunnan Normal University (for the Master ’ s degree) Studied in Brighton University in England Participated in some teacher-training projects as a teacher trainer Worked as a mentor for beginner teachers

I am an English teacher working at Kunming No 8 High School. This is the school where I work.

It ’ s one of the best schools in Yunnan Province, having the best facilities. We have 343 staff and almost 4000 students studying on two campuses.

We appeal for perseverience, honesty, creativity and devotion.

What am I doing as a mentor? Organizing discussions about how to make a lesson more efficient Having seminars about English teaching tips and ideas Doing research projects to help mentees learn by doing
