Educational Background  Graduated from Yunnan nationalities' university and gained the bachelor’s degree of English language and literature in 2007  Now taking an on-the-job postgraduate course on English education in Yunnan normal university  Have been teaching English in high school for almost five years  A member of Zhao Jian teachers' workshop

3. My Understanding of English Teaching English is a communication tool English teaching enables students to learn to communicate in a widely-used language. English teaching allows students to have an easier access to western culture. The aim of English teaching is to arouse students’ interests and be able to learn a way of learning language thus they can learn by themselves.

4. My confusion of English teaching 1. How to change students' attitudes towards learning English. Most students in China study English just for exams. So how to create an active and relaxed learning atmospere for students and meanwhile get a high mark in the exams becomes a very big problem. 2. How to arouse students' interests in learning English and thus build up their confidence.

5. What I got from English teaching keep a positive attitude towards life developed a sense of enterprising and reponsibility passion towards English teaching.

6. Improve myself Learn about different thoeries about teaching. Improve my ability of organizing more effective classes. Improve my spoken English and enlarge vocabulary.
