The Treasure in a Field Based on Matthew 13:44 Presented by Sermons4Kids.com Featuring the art of Henry Martin

One day, Jesus told a story about a man who was walking through a field.

As he was walking, he tripped over something hidden in the grass.

He looked and discovered that it was a treasure that had been hidden in the field. He quickly hid the treasure again and went joyfully on his way.

He went and sold all that he owned and bought the field where he had hidden the treasure.

When we realize its value, it is cause for great joy. Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. When we realize its value, it is cause for great joy. It is worth all that we have.

Are you willing to pay the price? It is worth all of the losses, hardships, and persecution which a follower of Jesus might have to endure. Are you willing to pay the price? It’s worth it!
