TEAC AUDIT: Preparation TEAC’s 9 th Annual Meeting AACTE New Orleans Feb 7 th, 2008

Utah Valley State College (Utah Valley University) UVSC (UVU) is a Tier II, Regional University in Orem, Utah, located at the foot of the Wasatch mountains. The overall student body is approaching 24,000 students with approximately 750 students in the education licensure programs. TEAC Audit date: March 2007 BS Elementary Education 14 Secondary Education licensure content areas.

St. Ambrose University St. Ambrose University is a private Catholic, liberal arts, diocesan institution located in Davenport, Iowa along the Mississippi River. St. Ambrose University serves approximately 4000 students with an undergraduate TEP of approximately 400 candidates. TEAC Audit date: April 2005 Inquiry Brief Proposal Variety of bachelor degrees offered along with 35 endorsement areas.

The Brief UVSC Bound hard and electronic copies for all involved Copies of all cited articles and books (or references for unavailable books) One voice/ One author Faculty input SAU Bound hard copies for all involved. Electronic copies for audit team on flash drives. Copies and/or references for all cited articles and books Faculty input and shared tasks Brief & TEAC education

The Exhibits…in general Secure workroom provided for audit team. Consider central location and easy access. Place all evidence/exhibits in this room. Consider electronic access to webpages or online courses, portfolios, etc. Organize your evidence for easy access (folders/ binders). No need to go hunting.

The Meetings UVSC Coordinated with team leader in advance Held in workroom Participants briefed SAU Meetings held in respective offices across campus. Map provided, as well as student escorts. Met with all key players mentioned in Brief. Round table meetings/open house Allowed for space in the day to let team work
