Kavya and Adrianne

* We decided to make two film trailers of different genres, horror and comedy. * The work was split between the two of us ( Kavya- Horror and Adrianne- Comedy) * Both of us possess a Mac and are fascinated by the effects of iMovie * Movie making is an enjoyable process we love and thus we decided to portray our skills of movie making through the two trailers for our Tech Fair ‘12 project.

* To make this I first set up a theme called Blockbuster. This gave the film external effects ie. the credits * I then took extracts off YouTube from films I consider appropriate for the horror genre. I edited each and made it suitable for my film trailer. * The last step was to edit the trailer as a whole: extra effects ad music.

* These clips were then combined to produce the horror trailer * The trailer also included a main character, Hayley Williams. Who in reality is a singer. * I used her image and suitable clips of her as I considered it appropriate for the content of my trailer.

Comedy: In The Making

* First, I went to YouTube and I took out some * movies that are related to what I’m going to * talk about (e.g, mine is comedy so I decided * to choose a clip from Dumb and Dumber and * Nacho Libre)

* I copied the link, open another tap and go to * * I pasted the link that I copied and paste it in * the box (above)

* After I downloaded the clips, we put it on iMovie and trim them so it would to be simple and shorter. * I included the music “Dirty Little Secret” by All American Reject and a soundtrack from iMovie itself. * After these basic procedures, I ed my movie to Kavya to mash it up with the effects.

* As a conclusion and perspective of the project as a whole, it was made to convey: * Our interest in Film Making as a whole * The importance I.T has as a role in Film Making. * For a more entertaining and enjoyable project to understand.
