What’s on for Today? Review “Math Facts Acquisition” by grade level Introduce PowerPoint as a tool in the math classroom. Go through actual examples. Review the basics of PowerPoint. Create a presentation for your classroom.

What’s the big deal? Students are immersed in multimedia content and rely on it to inform, communicate and entertain. PowerPoint is an example of how multimedia technology can also be used to educate. Most media is style over content, teachers can reverse this trend and make the technology work for the curriculum. Children eight years and older spend an average of 6 hours, 43 minutes using media everyday.
