e-Portfolio Process General Overview Takes place each trimester Integral part of academic assessment and development Essential component of grade level completion requirements If e-portfolio is not completed in an acceptable and timely manner...  Suspension of report cards  Vacation extension work  Potential repeating of grade level.

Trimester e-Portfolio Requirements Students must effectively organize work during the trimester in digital form with appropriate back-up (dropbox, hard drive, etc.). Scan or take photos of artifacts such as art, posters, labs, exams, etc. Create one pdf document (resize images first) that encompasses all selected artifacts and class reflections in the following order. Present e-portfolio at student lead trimester conferences

e-Portfolio PDF order (1) English, (2) Español, (3) Mathematics, (4) Science, (5) Estudios Sociales, (6) Co-curricular, (7) Social reflection (at end of school year)  Co-curricular = PE, CAS, Art, Theatre, Music, LEEP, CCP, etc. Each #1-6 must include  4 square Piece Reflection with included artifact  4 square Subject Reflection

Timeline Within two weeks of conferences  Students finalize subject level 4 square sheets  Peer/Teacher editing with 6+1 in mind  No spelling errors with minimal grammar errors (age and language ability appropriate) Tuesday, March 19 th by 12pm  e-Portfolio pdf submitted to  File Name: “Jonathan_Beuthner_Trimester_2_2013”  File converter at

Timeline (cont.) Tuesday/Wednesday (March 19th,20th)  Student receives response from with final changes Thursday, March 21st by 12pm  Final e-Portfolios due to Friday, March 22 nd  Student Lead Conferences with parents and teachers
