Presentation transcript:

Vilnius Vytautas Magnum Gymnasium is the first Lithuanian school in Lithuania, which was established in the year 1915 by its first teachers, who also were signatars of independency of Lithuania. The vision of our school is based on humanism and humanistical pedagogy, when each person, who participates in education, is valuable not only as a child, but also as a person, including his parents and social partners of our school. This gymnasium is open for positive changes and its development. All the memebers of school enshrine its traditions, positive values, nationality and tolerance. Furthermore, the organisation flexibly adapts to different changes, gives comprehensive knowledge that may help young people to find their place in Lithuania and Europe.

We have up to 649 pupils, who are between 14 to 19 years old. These young people come from different socio-economical backgrounds, however they are very motivated, active and open for changes. They have also many and different interests starting with sports and arts and ending with ecology and leadership. Our youngsters participate in many projects that are being implemented at local, national and international levels. We participate in different projects of eTwinning, Youth in action, Comenius and ect. As partners we are called as an organisation that is open for differencies, having high level of competences in project management, being responsible and reasonable, active and flexible, having creative and full of ideas staff.
