Mission: providing intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world. How? educational long-term youth exchanges every year 3 months-1 year 15-18 year olds school and host family based (immersive) 60 organisations operating in 110 countries volunteers

3 Citizenship Education
Including active citizenship content within educational exchanges: European Citizenship Trimester Programme Annual since 2009 Every year 260 young people from 25 countries ACTIVE Project Manual of activities to enable young people to make a change in their community CONTENT PAGE WITH LOGO

Advancing Research-Practice Dialogue in the field: Forum on Intercultural Learning and Exchange Annual since 2009 60 participants from all over the world Experts from OECD, Council of Europe, the European Commission, Harvard University, Duke University…

intercultural learning through hosting impact on educational institutions assessing intercultural learning in student and pupil exchanges competences acquired through non formal education and informal learning on the part of the school intercultural training of teachers

8 What we will do Modules on intercultural learning to be included in secondary school curricula. Training for teachers to implement the modules, promote teachers’ and pupils’ mobility and valorise it upon return. Policy and practice recommendations to include intercultural learning in teachers’ training and education. Policy and practice recommendations to include intercultural learning in secondary schools’ curricula and recognise the experience abroad as part of the academic path.
