Nasal Cancer (Respiratory System) Nasal cancer is rare. Men, most likely over the age 45, are the majority of the victims. At first there is no symptoms, but since that’s the case, it is harder to treat because it is to advanced now. Treatment option are like those of other cancers like, chemo, radiation, and surgery.

How do you get nasal cancer? Being exposed to chemicals and/or dust on workplace can increase the rick of nasal cancer such as. Jobs that contain these material are: Furniture making Sawmill work Wood working (carpenter) Shoe making Metal plating Flour mill/bakery work

How do you get nasal cancer? (cont) Not only do jobs increase the risk, some diseases and actions can also increase the chance like: Being infected with HPV Smoking Also being male and older than 45

Symptoms of Nasal Cancer Some symptoms are common to colds or migraines but if these common symptoms persist or get more serious symptoms, you must consult a doctor Blocked sinuses or sinus pressure Headache or pain around nose Runny nose Nose bleed A lump or sore in nose that doesn’t heal A lump on the face or roof of mouth Numbness or tingling of the face Pain or pressure in ear Pain of top teeth, loss of teeth, or dentures don’t fit correct Swelling of eyes or trouble seeing

What happens to the system? Once the nasal cancer has full effect, it is impossible to breathe through the nostril infected or not at all if both are infected.

What does the body try to do after effected by nasal cancer? Like other cancers and ailments in general, the body tries to attack the sickness. The fight against cancer in the body is always usually won by cancer. In this case though, the body has a 8% chance to beat it on it’s own. It is extremely rare but not impossible.

What are treatments and can it be cured? Like many kinds of cancer, the treatments vary on the stage and the type of cancer. The treatment basics are radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and surgery. It can be cured, usually when it is detected early.
