Setting Up Your PDA

Skyscape Confidential – Subject to NDA 8 Install Palm Desktop Software Insert the CD that came with your device to install your Palm Desktop software and synchronize your device. During the installation process on a Windows computer you can select to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook. If you decide to switch later, you can do so with this CD.

Skyscape Confidential – Subject to NDA 9 Connect and Charge Once you’ve installed your Palm software, you will be prompted to synchronize. To do this, plug the sync cable into your device and into a USB port on the back of your computer. To charge your device, plug the AC charger into the Multi-connector on the sync cable and into an outlet.

Warm Reset  Press and hold the 5-Way navigation button in the “up” position.  Press and release the reset button.  Release the “up” button when you see the Palm Powered screen appear. Hard Reset (Wipe ALL Data)  Same as above but use the power button instead of the “up” button.

Skyscape Confidential – Subject to NDA 25 Desktop Reinstallation Go to and login to your account. Click the link for ‘My Products’. Click the ‘Download Here’ link for the product that you are installing. Download the program and follow the prompts to reinstall.

Skyscape Confidential – Subject to NDA 26 PDA Reinstallation From My Skyscape Dashboard Open the My Skyscape dashboard on the desktop computer. Click on the Palm Tab. Locate the program you are installing. From the pop-up menu click on Install. You will need to input the serial number for the program you are installing. Follow the on-screen prompts to install. Hot synch the device and your programs will be installed.
