Louisiana Army National Guard Noteworthy Issues to report: Exchange Changes – Army Enterprise Decision Friday 11 May 2012: ARNG to migrate to Army Enterprise Migration of first 3 States to begin Days. Migration to be completed by 31 March 2013 All ARNG, State Employees, and DOD Contractors who support the ARNG will be moved from the current NGB system to the new Army solution by March more to follow on the effects for each state. DOD Visitor Program: – CAC Temp Access Program : implemented 1 MAY 2012 All ARNG States implemented the new DoD Visitor program which allows any user with a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) temporary access on any computer when they are away from their “home domain” (their normal duty station). Temporary access only no profiles or files will be stored on the computer. When you logoff the computer all work or information accessed will be removed. 2

Louisiana Army National Guard New Technologies: 4G -MIFI MiFi is a line of compact wireless routers that act as mobile Wi-Fi hotspots. MiFi stands for 'My Wi-Fi'. The MiFi can be connected to a mobile phone (cellular) carrier and provide internet access for up to 5 devices. The MiFi works at a distance up to 10 m (30 ft) and will provide internet or network access to any Wi-Fi enabled peripheral device. New Technologies: Cradlepoint 1400 Broadband Router Cradlepoint Router is the larger version of the mobile Wi-Fi but with greater range up to (750 ft) and provide internet access for up to 120 devices
