The Holocaust By Kelsey Douglas

What is The Holocaust? The Holocaust is a terrible raciest event that took place in world war 2.Hitler just wanted pure German people in Germany so he made the Jewish people shop at different times which was unacceptable. Also he sent them to concentration camps which were slavery camps or where Jews were killed. I will explain more of this events during the power point.

How Jews Where Separated from German People. Jews were given separate times to the shops and even go to the cinema. Also if they was sitting down on a buss and a German walked in they would have to stand up and let the German take their place. Quickly this situation got worse and soon Jews were banned from parks and even some schools!

Going into Hiding Lots of Jews were thrown out of their homes and disappeared. This happened to many Jews so allot of them went into hiding, in attics or even old run down buildings that were never used. This was a hard time for all family's because as well as the war going on outside they had other things to worry about such as getting caught by the Nazis.Lots of Jews were found and shot.

Holidays Hitler and his men advertised holidays for Jews to go on and they told them fake things about the rooms and what it would be like there. Jews were amazed by the information they were told about this offer. They went to these holiday destinations were there was a huge shock as they were actually taken to concentration camps!!!

Concentration Camps These unexplainable camps were mostly used to torture the Jews. Some were horrible camps built to kill Jews. T hey were killed by being put in gas chambers or even by being shot. Others were labour camps were Jews were forced to work until they were dead. Millions of Jews were killed in concentration camps.

Labour Camps Jews that were strong were sent to labour camps were they worked to they died ! Most of the jobs were building mines and rail ways. They were fed on scraps of food and barely any water. Jews were separated for their family and the rest of the Germans because there was a thick fence of wire that surrounded them.

Killing Camps These were terrible camps were people were killed either by being put in gas chambers or by being shot. If you were gassed in gas chambers you were put in piles off dead bodies that stayed there. Children, mothers, fathers or teenagers were put in gas chambers or were waiting to be shot. This was only if you were to weak to work.

Thank you for watching this power point.
