Dual Completers/ Career Majors Many colleges want to see a career focus through your course work. A completer program or a career major is a great way to take classes you find interesting and gain career awareness. Let your counselor know what you are interested in and they can help recommend courses and make sure you have the requirements for each program.

PAWS “Promoting Achievement With Students” - Students report to their advisory group every day after first mod for 30 minutes. - On Wednesdays, they work on grade specific advisory lessons and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday are for PAWS time. - PAWS is an enrichment time for students to receive extra help from teachers, attend club meetings, see their school counselor, and complete make-up assignments.

Building tours at 5:00, 5:20, and 5:40  Parents and students learn about scheduling, special education, sports, getting involved, and clubs  February 6 and February 12- Scheduling nights 4:00-6:45 at LHS.  Parents can sign up for a time to meet with an advisor about individual course requests during the Transition Night on January 23.  If you and your parents are unable to attend the transition night, please contact LHS ( ) on January 24 to schedule your scheduling conference date and time.

LHS will make every effort to schedule the courses you select. We reserve the right to make schedule changes in the event of conflicts, insufficient course enrollment, or when teacher services are not available to teach the course. Seniors and juniors will be given preference in a course that is needed for graduation or a completer program. Teachers are hired and books and materials are purchased based upon the choices made on course selection sheets.
